Position Summary:

Apex Recovery, an innovative and integrative treatment center, has an part time career opportunity for individuals with extensive Nursing experience. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to oversee, lead, and provide additional support to Residential staff (CNAs, MAs,& LVNs) in a luxury, residential substance abuse facility. Responsible for assuring all Company standards are met and maintained and that all policies and procedures are carried out properly.

Qualifications:

Must possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) at minimum; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is not required, but certainly a plus.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Shall have at least 1 year experience or training in a supervisory role within the mental health setting that services individuals with chemical dependency and/or co-occurring disorders
Shall have at least 1 year experience or training in program development for individuals with chemical dependency or co-occurring psychiatric and substance disorders.
Must be physically and mentally able to direct in an emergency situation.
Demonstrates interest and ability to work effectively with the community.
Demonstrate ability to apply principles of supervision of personnel along with the ability to implement and coordinate APEX Recovery, LLC team responsible for service delivery.
Must possess current California Driver's License.

Have ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all center personnel, professional staff, representatives from government and community agencies, clients and their families, and the public.
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn and implement government regulations.
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to implement center policies.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Be willing and able to accept and utilize close supervision from Executive Director and Program Manager.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Supporting/Leading other Residential technician staff.
Keeping in compliance with DHCS and Joint Commission standards.
Maintain clear communication with Program Manager.
Assessment of basic medical needs.
Medication monitoring/count.
Basic medical care and first aid.
Ability to work closely and collaborate with all staff.
Possible transportation of clients to and from appointments.

Compensation/Salary will be dependent upon experience.
